The Adecco Group Earns Four 2020 Military Friendly® Employer Designations

Workforce solutions provider is recognized for commitment to veterans and military spouses

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., – December 3, 2019  – The Adecco Group, the world’s leading HR solutions partner, today announced that it has earned the 2020 Military Friendly® Employer Silver designation, as well as three other designations: 2020 Military Friendly® Spouse Employer, 2020 Military Friendly® Supplier Diversity Program Designee and 2020 Military Friendly® Brands Designee. As a recipient of these prestigious designations, the Adecco Group truly represents what it is to be “Better for Veterans” and “Better for America.”

Organizations earning these designations were evaluated using both public and government data sources with responses from a comprehensive survey completed by the employer. Methodology, criteria and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining an organization’s survey score with an assessment of the organization’s ability to meet minimum thresholds for recruiting, hiring, advncement and retention of veterans and military employees.

“At the root of everything we do is our passion to support individuals in reaching their full potential, including our military community,” said Joyce Russell, president of the Adecco Group U.S. Foundation. “Through our Military Alliance Program, we actively seek to build strong relationships with veteran-owned businesses and to provide career advancement opportunities and support to veterans and military spouses.”

The Military Alliance Program is a partnership between the Adecco Group, military affiliate groups and military installations around the country to recruit and hire veterans and military spouses. Through the program, the Adecco Group offers various services, including job placement, career counseling, resume enhancement, interview training and online skills training to support individuals in their post-military career.

“We are honored to be recognized by the military community again this year, and over the past ten years,” added Rachelle Chapman, Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships at the Adecco Group. “We wholeheartedly believe that veterans and military spouses can bring great value to any workforce, and that’s why we choose to celebrate them every day through this program.”

The Adecco Group will be showcased along with other 2020 Military Friendly® Employers in the December 2019 issue of G.I. Jobs® magazine, in the January 2020 issue of Military Spouse Magazine and on MilitaryFriendly.com.

About Military Friendly® Employers:
The Military Friendly ® Employers list is created each year based on extensive research using public data sources for more than 8,800 employers nationwide, input from employed veterans and responses to the proprietary, data-driven Military Friendly ® Employers survey from participating organizations.

The survey questions, methodology, criteria, and weighting were developed with the assistance of an independent research firm (EY) and an advisory council of educators and employers. Ernst & Young is a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services, independently evaluated the scoring methodology used for the Military Friendly ® Employers list using the criteria set forth by VIQTORY. The services performed by EY are limited to advisory procedures and do not provide assurance over the scoring methodology.

The survey is administered for free and is open to all post-secondary schools and employers that wish to participate. Criteria for consideration can be found at www.militaryfriendly.com.
